Here we are with 4 weeks to go.

Our doctor says everything is looking great! She told Megan that she's not very big for being so far a long, but the kid is packed in there really tight! He's weighting in at 6lbs 2 ozs and moves around all the time. We still haven't discovered the right name so he may be "the kid" for the first part of his life. We're sure once we see him a name will come to us (or at least we're hoping that's what happens) Everything is pointing to delivery on the 26th of January, but the doctor wouldn't be surprised if he comes a week early. We're not crossing our fingers, the 26th sounds great to us! If we're lucky the next post will be of him and not Megan's belly!

Here are a couple of pictures from the holidays.

Megan reading a poem with Ryan playing background music for the Burrell Christmas Concert.

Here's how Ryan spent Christmas Eve. So far Harry Potter Trivia hasn't been able to stump him!!
Oh but the most exciting Christmas present was a new cousin for "the kid". On December 11th Max Blake Goss was born and on December 12th he became a permanent member of our family!! We are so excited for "the kid" to have a cousin the same age. Well at least the mom's are excited!

...And so it Begins!

So as we have gone through our married life together, one surprise after another has been the norm, and it was no different, when on the last day of work for Ryan, we received the biggest surprise of all! Procreation is possible!!!

The doctor confirmed our suspicions with a "positive, positive, congratulations you are definitely pregnant." This came as a major shock to us because two weeks earlier the same test had come back "negative, negative, you are definitely NOT pregnant."

So here we are three and a half months along with a little less shocking news that it's a boy. Everyone seemed to know it was, and now they can brag that "they knew it all along."

Still no official names yet. We've decided it won't have an official name until we see the little face. Plus that gives us more time to come up with more than just one name (which is all we have now).
